Congratulations LHU New Life Class of 2012 05/11/2012
Tears will flow tonight, and shouts of joy will ring out! We are so excited for you, our graduates. As you prepare for graduate school or look for jobs, our prayers are for your success. You have given your all and you have made a difference on this campus. We have been delighted to serve along side you during your time at LHU and we are delighted to see how and where God will use you going forward. Until we meet again... "I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth. Your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I also send them into the world." - John 17:15-18 NASB Add Comment Proclaiming FREEDOM to the Captive! 04/10/2012
Today on Russell Lawn at LHU, New Life is hosting a display that the student leadership team created to bring awareness to the problem of modern day slavery - aka: Human Trafficking. Every white flag on display represents 10,000 men, women, and children who are currently enslaved somewhere in the world today. Stop by sometime today between now and 6pm to read some of the stories of slaves who are being freed and the organizations who are helping to free them. You can also take a survey to find out how many slaves your current lifestyle employs. At 7pm, join us in Ulmer Planetarium for a 30 minute video about slavery in the world today, why we should care and what we can do about it! "The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free" - Luke 4:18 April is here and the time is right... 04/03/2012
For spreading the gospel around campus. With so many students having taken our evangelism "course," let's make sure we make the most of our equipping. Be sharing not just your testimony, but the gospel with those around you. You know, that person you have been sitting next to for the past 10 weeks in that one class, or that person that lives two doors down from you that you kind of befriended, or better yet... that person you have a close friendship with that isn't a Christian. Now is the time. Be intentional with your relationships. Welcome to 2012 everybody! 01/12/2012
So, Passion was great and worshiping with 45,000 college students is always a plus, but this isn't why it was great. The teaching this year was phenomenal! We were all exposed to the fact that there are 27,000,000 slaves ages 4-80 in the world today (including America). That's more than than ever in the whole of human history. How are you going to be a force that brings this epidemic to an end? "Compassion is NOT compassion until we take action and get involved." - Christine Caine Do something now, before the semester starts to begin to get involved! If you have any good ministries that we can add to our ministry links page, please comment them below and we will add them! PASSION 2012 12/19/2011

Just a quick post to say that New Life students are leading a charge to help our friends, neighbors, and communities clean up after the flooding here in Pennsylvania. Many are committed to spending their extra time helping you clean up and out. Please email us at LHUNewLife@gmail.com if you have any need or perhaps if you would like to join us. Follow me on Twitter @JasonrRitz to keep up with all the ways God works through our little group the rest of the month. "There's no crying in flood relief!" Below is the video of us doing some flood relief in Nashville in 2010. A little humor around this joint... 09/09/2011
